The Foundation is a qualified charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The FEI is 59-2597553 and the Florida state registration is #N12288. Suncoast Performing Arts Foundation d.b.a. Central Park Performing Arts Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors which meets as a full board once each month in accordance with the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation which are on file with the Florida Department of State. The executive committee of officers additionally meets monthly and has recently established policies and procedures which enhance the governance of the organization. Numerous committees work year around to promote the Foundation, to raise funds and to award scholarships for theater camps and classes to talented students.
Annual tax returns for the most recent three years are available to the public upon request at the principal office. The Donor Bill of Rights was adopted by our organization in 2001. The loyalty of theater lovers, arts patrons, corporate sponsors and local residents have resulted in many small gifts as well as a number of large ones. The Foundation has implemented prudent and safe investment strategies to preserve and grow its assets.
